This facility has an established training program for medical students and residents.

This facility provides the following reproductive health services:

• 1st tri surgical abortion
• 2nd tri surgical abortion
• Medical Abortion
• Pregnancy options counseling
• Pelvic exams
• Contraception
• Ultrasound
• STD testing/counseling

*Note: Externs can observe colposcopies and any other exams/procedures with other providers in the department.

This facility is able to accommodate the following:

• 2nd year medical students
• 3rd-year medical students
• 4th-year medical students

This facility serves traditionally underserved populations, including women of color and low-income women. 50% of patients use Medicaid for payment, 25% are uninsured, and 25% are students using student insurance. Most patients are women of color.

This facility has an application deadline of April 1st and would like to host externs during the summer.
