This facility has an established training program for medical students, residents, and fellows.

This facility provides the following reproductive health services:

• 1st tri surgical abortion
• 2nd tri surgical abortion
• Medical abortion
• Pregnancy options counseling
• Pelvic exams
• Contraception
• Ultrasound
• STD testing/counseling

This facility is able to accommodate the following:

• 1st-year medical students
• 2nd-year medical students
• 3rd-year medical students
• 4th-year medical students

This facility has many family planning research projects available for students and gives priority for clinical exposure to 4th-year students.

This facility serves traditionally underserved populations. SFGH is an inner city, urban hospital with diverse clients.

Please note that this facility’s training schedule is restricted to one-month blocks.
